most dynamic Christian communities in existence.
The Episcopal Church
of St. Clement of Rome seeks to be an icon of Christ in Inkster and
our surrounding communities. We seek to do this in the way we live
the Gospel; in the way we worship; in the way we love; and in the
way in which we serve both God and our neighbor.
St. Clement’s
realizes that the church must remain relevant and alive if we are to
continue to serve the community and be the kingdom builders that God
commands us to be. In 2006, this congregation engaged in a period of
prayer and an exploration of the faith of our parish. We became
reacquainted with the fabric and needs of our surrounding community.
The result of this prayerful effort is our Unified Vision Plan. This
vision plan is our 5-year blueprint for change and growth. It
outlines the bold steps we will take to change for the sake of the
Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, while remaining true to
the core values of that same Gospel. We formally adopted this plan
at our Annual Meeting in January 2007.
On behalf of our
entire parish family, I invite you to visit us for worship or one
of our community programs. Better yet, you are invited to join this
ever growing and changing parish family. Once here, you will find
welcome and acceptance into a warm and loving Christian community
and a place at which you can use your God-given gifts and talents in
service to God and to his people. Once here, you will find a
community in which the Gospel is not merely talked about. Once here,
you will experience the warmth of Jesus Christ’s love. At St.
Clement’s Episcopal Church - we LIVE the Gospel!!!
